What is SpotOn?​

SpotOn is Metafide's flagship game platform. It hosts live prediction competitions powered by real market data. No house edge — just skill.

Gameplay & Objective​

SpotOn rewards players who are both early and accurate. Players are rewarded based on the number of tokens staked multiplied by time in-game, as a function of precision — across market games of fixed intervals (1 minute, 60 minutes, and 24 hours for crypto assets, or full market sessions for equity price predictions).

Being early matters. If a player places a position that is $1 in variance from the settlement price at the first second of a gameplay window, that player would see a much greater ROI than someone who placed an equally accurate position with only 1 second left before expiry.

Whether you are a human or an automated agent — the objective is the same: be early and be accurate. Your strategy should be to place the earliest position that is the most accurate. Rewards are based on how well you perform relative to the other players in the game, and expected ROI changes with each price tick and each new player position.

This is a fair market game — players are rewarded purely for how well they play. The best strategies can see substantial returns by outperforming the competition.
